In 2017, iKamper launched the world’s first expandable hard-shell rooftop tent, creating a new class of RTTs. Campers no longer had to sacrifice sleeping space for durability and aerodynamics. In 2019, we introduced the X-Cover: a new patented roof top tent design that removed the most common complaint of soft shell RTTs, the PVC cover.
